Many people are not only convinced that the environment is dangerous, but that it is steadily growing more so. For many, it’s more of a challenge than they feel up to.
The fact of the matter is, however, that the environment is made to appear much more dangerous than it actually is.
Here are just a few ways you can make the environment seem less threatening to yourself or another:
Don’t Read the Newspaper
This is very simple. Don’t read the newspapers for two weeks and see if you don’t feel better.
Knocking Off Things That Upset One
Just stop doing things or associating with people that upset you. For example, if you always feel upset after watching a certain type of film, don’t watch them.
Find Something That Isn’t Being a Threat
When a person gets too upset or confused, you can have him look around his environment and find something that isn’t being a threat to him. Carry on doing this until the person is very happy or relieved and has had a realisation about himself, the environment or life in general.
Take a Walk
Take a walk and look at things as you walk.
