Several staff members, public, friends and children helped to clean up the Holes Bay waterfront as part of The Great Dorset Beach Clean.
The day was a huge success and this is what the official report on the day had to say:
“Over 900 volunteers cleaned our great Dorset beaches.
“There was an incredible response by volunteers to the Great Dorset Beach Clean on Sunday 21 April 2013. Altogether, 923 people (721adults/202 children) spread themselves across 24 beaches of the Dorset coast. The volunteers at Holes Bay collected the largest number of sacks (70) and in general all beaches had a high turn out of volunteers, with 79 people helping at Friar’s Cliff, Christchurch.”
It was great to see people of all ages helping out!
